The Marisa Tufaro Foundation presented the annual Marisa Tufaro Foundation Greater Middlesex Conference Student-Athlete Scholarship in honor and loving memory of its namesake to high school seniors who overcome adversity (not limited to medical challenges), who strove for excellence academically and athletically, who engaged in community service, and who were inspired by Marisa’s story to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Marisa Tufaro Foundation issued a total of 31 Greater Middlesex Conference Student-Athlete Scholarships over a nine-year period beginning in 2018.
