The Marisa Tufaro Foundation, which has received incredible support from Captain Jason Gerba and the Edison Township Police, including a most generation donation from Edison PBA Local 75, continues to be the beneficiary of the department’s benevolence.
Captain Gerba and Sergeant Chelsea Richard presented our nonprofit with a beautiful plaque during last week’s Law Enforcement Torch Run in gratitude for our support of Special Olympics New Jersey.
Last fall, in honor of Captain Gerba and the Edison Township Police, The Marisa Tufaro Foundation made a generous donation to Special Olympics New Jersey with all funds exclusively benefiting Middlesex County Special Olympics programs and athletes.
What the Edison Township Police have accomplished for Special Olympics New Jersey through their involvement in the torch run, particularly as a Top 10 fundraising department that has generated more than $100,000 for the organization over the last five years alone, is beyond amazing.
We are eternally grateful to Captain Gerba and the entire Edison Police Department, whose charitable endeavors to countless causes are exemplary.
