The second annual Marisa Tufaro Memorial Scholarship, which Woodbridge High School, through its benevolence, fully funds in Marisa’s honor and memory, will be awarded to two exceptional college-bound seniors (Class of 2018) from Woodbridge High School who strive for excellence academically, athletically or in the arts, who overcame adversity (not limited to medical challenges) and who epitomize the caring spirit that Marisa’s family believes makes the Woodbridge school-community special.

Scholarship candidates must:

  • Be a college-bound senior (no GPA requirement)
  • Have overcome adversity (not limited to medical challenges)
  • Be exceptional and strive for excellence in academics, athletics or the arts
  • Demonstrate a desire to make a meaningful contribution to society
  • Be involved in a balance of community, school and extra-curricular activities
  • Pursue aspirations with integrity, character and respect for others
